Eva Louise Roberts, age 83, passed away March 28, 2026 in Lucedale, MS. She was born September 9, 1942 to the late Moses Vernon Singleton and the late Jessie Lee Johnson. She graduated from Baker High School in 1961 in Mobile, AL. Eva married Cecil Roberts in 1963, and he predeceased her in 2001. She worked at Ingalls as a secretary for the department of the Navy. Eva was a published author, and she enjoyed organizing and making slideshow videos for the Antique Angels of Hurley, MS.

She is survived by her brother, Curtis Blount, and numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Roberts; parents, Moses Vernon Singleton and Jessie Lee Johnson; sister, Norma Jean Blount.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 10:00AM at Magnolia Springs Cemetery, 7300 Campground Rd, Moss Point, MS 39562.
