Evelyn Ella Greer, age 90, of Lucedale passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022, at home in Lucedale.  Mrs. Greer was born July 22, 1932, in Moss Point, MS. She is the daughter of the late Loney and the late Lillie Bell (Dickerson) Smith.

She was employed as a retail manager. Mrs. Greer was member of Journey Church in Lucedale, MS.

She is survived by one son:  Allen (Janet) Greer of Peachtree City, GA, brother: Lionel (Voncie) Smith. She has three grandchildren: Allen Nicholas (Jade) Greer, John Louis (Anna) Greer and Mary Katheryn Greer.  She is also survived by four great grandchildren: Tyler Harmon Greer, Evelyn Elizabeth Greer, Avery McKenna Holland, Brexley Kimberling Greer.

The funeral will be held 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Barry Jemison officiating.

A private family burial will follow in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, October 7, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS 39452.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the animal rescue in Lucedale;
