Evern Eubanks Malone, age 97, of Gulfport passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at One Magnolia Place of Gulfport, MS. Mr. Malone was born August 5, 1924 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Maurie Leander and the late Lola Virginia (Eubanks) Malone.

He served in the Army during World War II from Nov. 16, 1943 to May 6, 1946. He was co-owner of Malone-Studebaker Auto Sales and he was a State Farm Insurance Agent. Mr. Malone was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Rotary club and Howell Grantham Post 53 VFW for 75 years.

He is survived by two daughters: Janet Malone Tessier of Gulfport, MS and Paula Malone (Charles) Calhoun of Orange Beach, AL. He has three grandchildren, Jennifer M. Williamson, Stephen Wayne (Michelle) Williams, Charles Eric (Jessica) Calhoun; five great-grandchildren, Jordan L. (Andrew) Robinson, Justice R. (Savanna) Williamson, Caitlin Calhoun, Alexandra Williams, Charles Aidan Calhoun; one great great grandchild, Maylin Rae Williamson.

Predeceased by his first wife, Nell Baker Malone, and his second wife, Ruth Key Malone.

Private services will be held at a later date.
