Floyd L. Whatley, age 84, of Lucedale passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, at home in Lucedale.  Mr. Whatley was born January 17, 1938, in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Floyd E. and the late Rosetta (Roberts) Whatley.  He married Annette Eubanks.

He served in the Army. He was a retired ironworker.

He is survived by his wife; Annette Parker Whatley, daughters; Tammy (Junior) Howell, Bettye Anne Brannon, Karen (Steve) Hempstead, Teresa (Jerry) Ronk, and Amanda Sabo and sons; Floyd Dale Whatley, Floyd Lee Whatley, and Jeremy Ashley Whatley. Extended family members; Pam (Joe) Howell, Patti Parker, Paula (Henry) Cochran, Phillip (Erin) Parker, William Edward David, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Awaiting his arrival in heaven are his parents; Floyd E. and Rosetta Roberts Whatley, Sisters; Mary Whatley (Hudie) Jones and Margaret Whatley David, and nephew; Vernon Edward David.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
