Forrest Reubin Ball, age 79, of Leakesville, MS died Saturday, May 29, 2021 at home in Leakesville. Mr. Ball was born April 29, 1942 in Greene County, MS. He is the son of the late Forrest and the late Eliza (Prentiss) Ball. He married Freddie Ruth Sullivan. Reubin was employed by U. S. Postal Service as a Rural Mail Carrier.

He is survived by his wife: Freddie Ruth (Sullivan) Ball ; one brother: Joe (Darleen) Ball of Marion, TX; God-daughter, Deki (Troy) White of Leakesville, MS; grandson, Jon-Ellis White of Leakesville, MS; Grandson, Charles Reubin "Charlie" White of Leakesville, MS; God-son, Willie Boulineau of Leakesville, MS; sister-in-law, Shirley Ball of Moss Point, MS; sister-in-law, Sarah Adorni of Aurora, OH; brother-in-law, Charles Sullivan of Salem, OH; brother-in-law, Paul Fowler of Eight Mile, AL. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and special friends.

Preceded in Death by: Son, Charles Reubin Ball, Daughter, Charlene Elizabeth Ball, Parents, Forrest and Eliza Ball, 3 brothers, Edward Ball, Millard Cooley, Marneil Cooley, 7 sisters, Bettye Jane Hillman, Melonee Williams, Mary Hofstetter, Merlene Hoof, Madora Blackburn, Melda Davis, Margie Newton

Pall Bearers: Troy White, Steve Goff, Willie Boulineau, Max Dow Williams, Dewayne Williams, Jeremy Williams, Nicholas Williams, and Charley Hunt.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Marc Williams officiating. Burial will be in Old Greene Lodge Cemetery, Leakesville.

Calling hours will be Friday, June 4 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.
