Burley Frank Inman, age 84, previously of Hawthorne, FL passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in Atlanta, GA.

Frank was born in Williamsburg, KY. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Air Force and was stationed in California. Frank later moved to Florida where he founded Inman & Associates, an underground utility contractor which built treatment systems for University of Florida, the City of Palatka and many other towns and customers.

Supporting the Jacksonville Fair was a passion for Frank where he was a long time member of the Board of Directors, as well as a full-time volunteer. Frank was also a lifetime advocate and supporter of the Florida United Methodist Children's Home along with his wife, Olive.

Frank loved volunteering whenever there was a need. He was an excellent heavy equipment operator and was often seen driving his backhoe down Star Lake Drive to dig a large hole, dig up a tree stump, push down a tree or scoop up a tree for removal. There was no task too large for Frank to tackle.

Frank also loved the Florida Gators and sat in the stadium cheering on his team for over 30 years.

Frank is survived by his son: Milton Inman; two step-daughters: Cindy Burkhardt and husband Jake of Atlanta, GA, and Becky Marshall and husband Thomas of Williamsport, PA; four grandchildren: Harrison Inman, Keagan Inman, Tyler Marshall, and Tess Marshall.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Sigler Funeral Home in Lucedale, MS (George County). The service will begin at 2:00 pm Central Time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Florida United Methodist Children's Home (www.fumch.org or 386-668-5088) in the name of Frank Inman.
