Mrs. Frankie Parker, age 93, went to be with her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ on March 5, 2024, in Hattiesburg, MS. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was a lifelong resident of George County and lived in the Movella Community. Mrs. Parker was born July 18, 1930 in Mobile, AL. She worked for many years at Brumfield's Department Store in Pascagoula, MS. She was a member of Antique Angels in Hurley, where she enjoyed the weekly activities. She loved her church and enjoyed camping and working in her flower garden.

Mrs. Parker is survived by; children: Edie (Ron) Sanderson of Hattiesburg, MS and Mark Timothy (Cathy) Parker of Lucedale, MS; three grandchildren: Joy Dawson (Greg Henderson) of Petal, MS, Jason (Mary) Sanderson of Madison, MS, Jordan Tyler Sanderson of Hurley, MS; six great grandchildren: Caroline Sanderson, Isabella Sanderson, Shane Sanderson, J.P. Rollins, Matt Rollins, Eli Sanderson; and many close friends.

She is preceded in death by: her husband of 64 years, Vallie Parker, Jr; her parents: Burie and Daisey Tompkins and Frank McGraw.

Pallbearers: Gene Tanner, Mac McDonald, Jason Sanderson, Ty Sanderson, Shane Sanderson, J.P. Rollins, Matt Rollins, and Eli Sanderson.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Movella Missionary Baptist Church, 175 Movella Baptist Church Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Joey Reus officiating.  Burial will be in Movella Baptist Church Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.
