Frankie Ray Tolbert, age 62, of Moss Point died Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Providence Hospital of Mobile, AL. Mr. Tolbert was born February 24, 1956 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Arvis Cecil Tolbert and the late Georgia Lee (Lingar) Tolbert. He was employed as a Gas Pipeline Inspector.

He lost his earthly battle with cancer, however he won his seat in the Kingdon. He traveled the country working construction shutdowns and finished his career as Inspector on the gas pipeline with his Pipeline Family. He lived for moments with his grandkids and was an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing and golfing. He had a deep faith and relationship with God and has proved that with Him anything is possible.

He is survived by partner, Anita Tolbert, one daughter: Matasha Plaisance; two sisters: Debbie (Bill) McGarity and Melinda Tolbert, and two brothers: Paul (Rebecca) Tolbert and J. R. Tolbert, He also has two grandchildren. Partner, Anita Tolbert; grandchild, Hunter Tolbert; grandchild, Ariel Plaisance, countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

Predeceased by his brother, Maynard Tolbert, and son, Jamie Ray Tolbert

The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Howell Baptist Church, 6131 Hwy 612, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Bud Tolbert officiating. Burial will be in Howell Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Friday, April 13 from 12:00-2:00pm at Howell Baptist Church.
