Mr. Fredrick D Eckhoff, age 87, of Lucedale, MS died Sunday, February 23, 2020 at home in Lucedale. Mr. Eckhoff was born May 13, 1932 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Lee A. Eckhoff and the late Anona (Tanner) Eckhoff. He married Doris Jean Horne on March 16, 1958 at Lucedale. Mr. Eckhoff served his country in the U. S. Air Force. He was the retired Director of Personnel Navy Engineers for the U. S. Navy. Mr. Eckhoff was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Doris Jean (Horne) Eckhoff; two sons: Stephen (Nisha) Eckhoff and Brian (Tania) Eckhoff,; grandchild, Miles Eckhoff; grandchild, Cole Eckhoff; grandchild, Linsey Eckhoff; grandchild, Breanna Eckhoff.

Predeceased by his step son, Larry Blackledge, and granddaughter, Destinie Stauter

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 12153 Hwy 613, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Mike Jemison officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 26 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS and Thursday, February 27 from 9:00am-10:00am at Union Missionary Baptist Church.
