Fredrick Eugene Pinkerton, age 85, of Lucedale, MS died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at home in Lucedale. Mr. Pinkerton was born November 6, 1933 in Springport, IN. He is the son of the late Fred R. Pinkerton and the late Ulah Mae (Todd) Pinkerton. He married Sylvia Lutes.

He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Public School Systems as a Teacher/Principal. Mr. Pinkerton was a member of 1st Church of the Nazarene, Marion, IN, National Association of Elementary School Principals, Indiana Association of School Principals, Association of Supervision & Curriculum Development, Marion Community Schools Administrator's Association, Indiana State Teachers Association (Life Member), and the National Rifle Association (Life Member).

He is survived by his wife: Sylvia (Lutes) Pinkerton, one daughter: Joni L. (Brian) Bradley of Sarasota, FL and two sons: Dr. Jay S. (Emily) Pinkerton of Lucedale, MS and Patrick R. (Rita) Pinkerton of Marion, IN,; grandson, Jason Pinkerton of Chicago, IL; granddaughter, Kelsey Pinkerton of Austin, TX; granddaughter, Olivia R. Pinkerton of Lucedale, MS; granddaughter, Lily J. Pinkerton of Lucedale, MS; granddaughter, Noelle J. Cheaib of Orlando, FL; grandson, Jonathan R. Pinkerton of Marion, IN; grandson, James G. Pinkerton of Marion, IN.

Visitation and funeral services will be announced at a later date. Needham-Storey-Wamper North Funeral Home, Marion, IN, will conduct those services.
