Glenda Iris "Sissy" Maples Goff, age 68, of Perkinston, MS passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS.  Mrs. Goff was born November 14, 1955 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Winston Seal "Turp" Maples and the late Ruby Irene (Price) Maples.

Sissy graduated from George County High School in 1973. She then attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, graduating with a nursing degree in 1975. Glenda, now retired, worked with several area hospitals as a LPN.

She is survived by one daughter: Melissa Goff Havard of Lucedale, MS; one brother: Larry (Gail) Winston Maples of Perkinston, MS; 5 grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents, Winston "Turp" & Irene Maples, brother, John (Lynn) Franklin Maples, sister, Gloria (Mark) Willenne Batson, and son, Nathan Levi Goff.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Pine Grove Methodist Church, 7257 Highway 57 S, Lucedale, MS with David Tootle and Mark Maples officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Grove Methodist Church Cemetery following the service

Calling hours will be Thursday, April 18 from 10:00-11:00am at Pine Grove Methodist Church.
