Gloris Fay Guin, age 83, of Lucedale, MS died Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Sparrows Hills Personal Care of Lucedale, MS.  Mrs. Guin was born August 16, 1939 in Roxboro, NC. She is the daughter of the late John H. Zimmerman and the late Ruth (Chisenhall) Zimmerman.  She married James Douglas "Sarge" Guin on December 9, 1966.  Sarge preceded her Home on May 4, 2006. Fay was also preceded in death by two stepsons, two sister, two brothers and one nephew.

Mrs. Guin was a member of the Bexley Baptist Church where she was actively involved in the church's ministry. Fay was a member of the Eastern Star. She was dedicated to helping other with a giving heart.

The funeral services will be held 3:00 pm on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Bexley Baptist Church, 2242 Bexley Crossroads Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Larry Havard officiating.  Interment will follow in Bexley Baptist Church Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, May 26, 2023 from 2:00-3:00pm at Bexley Baptist Church. Pall bearers will be: Donnis Guin, Nick Guin, Matt Clark, Jacob Papania, Zick Guin, and Abe Havard.

She is survived by, 1 step daughter and 2 step sons, 2 brothers, 15 grandchildren, 31 Great grandchildren, 21 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She also had 2 special friends, Nelda Bradley and George Ecroyd, plus her 8 year old dog "Baby" who she loved very much.
