Gracie Virginia Shepard, age 98, of Semmes, AL passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023 at home in Semmes. Mrs. Shepard was born April 18, 1925 in Leakesville, MS. She is the daughter of the late Franklin and the late Florence Victoria (Lambert) Shepherd.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by daughters, Jane Virginia McInnis, Sharon (Adam) Quinn and Grace (Darrel) Johnston; sons, Sammy (Leann) Stewart and Dwaine (Martha Sue) Stewart; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Predeceased by son, Allen Al Erkhart.

A graveside service will be held 2:15 pm on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Magnolia Cemetery, 328 Mill Street, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Eugene Futral officiating.

Calling hours will be Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 12:30-02:00PM at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.
