Grady V. Cochran, age 90, of Lucedale passed away Monday, June 30, 2025.  Mr. Cochran was born September 9, 1934 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Otis and the late Verma (Howell) Cochran.  He married Barbara Wade July 29, 1988.

Grady was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. After graduating from Lucedale High School, he attended MGCCC, and then he served in the Navy during the Peace Times war from 1955 to 1959 and received a Good Conduct Medal. He was employed with Scott Paper Co. and after retiring, he enjoyed farming and working with his cows. Grady also enjoyed seasonal hunting. He and his wife, Barbara, enjoyed traveling and visiting different places.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Cochran; son: Rusty (Judy) Cochran; daughter: Donna Wilroy; sons: Dennis Sellers and Davis (Kathy) Sellers; grandchildren: Brad Cochran (Tiffany), Megan Eubanks (Jason), Blayne Pope (Ashton), Jeremy Wilroy (Bethany), Jacob Wilroy, Julianne Wilroy, Danielle Wilroy, Tori Sellers Tracy (Harold), Hannah Sellers, Damien Rouse (Heather), Madison Sellers, and Elizabeth Sellers; 18 great grandchildren.

Mr. Cochran is preceded in death by his parents: Otis and Verma Cochran; grandson: Devin Sellers; siblings: Melanie Cochran and Travis Roy Cochran.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 14146 Hwy 26 West, Lucedale, MS.  Burial will be in Crossroad Methodist Church Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 10:00-11:00AM at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 14146 Hwy 26 West, Lucedale, MS.

Pallbearers will include: Brad Cochran, Jason Eubanks, Jacob Wilroy, Matt Reeves, Jeremy Wilroy, Blayne Pope, and Damien Rouse.

Honorary pallbearers will include: Dennis Sellers and Davis Sellers.
