Harvey William Dahlgren, age 92, of Dallas, TX passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Caruth Haven Assisted Living of Dallas, TX. Mr. Dahlgren was born April 24, 1926 in Mobile, AL. He is the youngest of three sons of the late Gus and the late Carrie (Allen) Dahlgren.

He graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile. On his 18th birthday, he joined the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Franklin in World War II. He married Mary Hunter in1951. He was predeceased by his wife, on August 6, 2011. He was a retired self-employed business man, manufacturing printing press equipment.

He worked in the printing business in Mobile until the late 1950's. At that time he moved the family to Dallas, TX. He and his brother formed a business manufacturing accessories for offset printing presses.

In 1977 he started Epic Products with the help of his wife and sons.

His passion in later life, outside of work and family, were traveling in his motorhome and flying his airplane.

He is survived by two sons: John Tyler (Kim) Dahlgren and Max William (Mary Barnes) Dahlgren, granddaughter, Kathleen Dahlgren; grandson, Ben Dahlgren.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Bro. Paul Brashier officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale.
