Hilda Faye Harrell, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2026. She was born in Movella, MS on January 25, 1933 to the late Porter Tanner and the late Tempie Griffin Tanner. Hilda Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and homemaker. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by daughters: Pam (Billy) Olson and Karen (Larry) Smith; 8 grandchildren: Eric Harvey, Melissa (Travis) Clark, Jessica (Tom) Hall, Doug Olson (Brittny), Jason (Amanda) Smith, Justin (Deane) Smith, Shane Harrell, Taylor (Sally) Harrell; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hayward Harrell; daughter, Jan Harrell Harvey; son, Mike Harrell; parents: Porter and Tempie Tanner; and 8 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 2:00PM at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main Street, Lucedale, MS with Rev. William Moore officiating.

Calling hours will be Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main Street, Lucedale, MS.

Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, 328 Mill Street, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Harrell Moore officiating.

Pallbearers will include Jason Smith, Justin Smith, Doug Olson, Shane Harrell, Taylor Harrell, Travis Clark, Tom Hall, and Eric Harvey.
