Hilna Ruth Stonecypher, age 93, of Stockton, AL died Friday, March 1, 2019 at home in Stockton. Mrs. Stonecypher was born August 29, 1925 in Meridian, MS. She is the daughter of the late Jessie and the late Mary E. (Ainsworth) Nelson. She married John B. Stonecypher Jr. on October 9, 1941. She was predeceased by her husband, on September 9, 2016. She retired from the George County Hospital as a Nurse.

She is survived by two daughters: Mary Ellen (Herbert) Kinsey and Barbara Jean (Randy) Voss,; granddaughter, Sandy (Ralph) Lowe; granddaughter, Karen Blanks; grandson, Michael (Francis) Voss; Great grandchild, Christy Voss; Great grandchild, Matthew Voss; Great grandchild, Austin Blanks; Great grandchild, Brooke Blanks; grandchild, Elizabeth (David) Cypher; grandchild, Mark (Marcie) Kinsey; grandchild, Kevin Kinsey; grandchild, Steve (Terri) Kinsey.

A funeral service will be held 9:00 am on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Al Moore officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale.
