H. N. Eubanks Jr., age 100, of Lucedale passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Greene County Hospital in Leakesville, MS. Mr. Eubanks was born May 11, 1920 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Hardy Napoleon and the late Mary Edith (Havard) Eubanks Sr. He married Doris A. Dillman, she predeceased him on November 12, 2013.

He served in the Marine Corps during World War II. He participated in action at Iwo Jima, Volcano Islands and the occupation of Sasebo Kyushu, Japan.  He was employed by U. S. Civil Service as a Model Maker. Mr. Eubanks was a member of the County Line Church of Christ.  He lived his life in service to God and his country. He lived most of his life in George County and will be greatly missed.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, finished the course, kept the faith. There is laid up for me the crown of righteousness.

He is survived by one daughter: Nancy (Charles) Wicke of Lucedale, MS and five sons: William "Butch" (Janet) Eubanks, Hardy (Charlotte) Eubanks, Paul (Penny) Eubanks, Gary (Leslie) Eubanks and Brian (Diana) Eubanks; one sister: Maxine (Robert) Smith; He has 7 Grandsons, 4 Granddaughters and 16 Great Grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Betty DiCintio and Margaret Knock.

The Graveside Services will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Rocky Creek Cemetery, 1220 Rocky Creek Road, Lucedale, MS with Brigham Eubanks officiating.

Calling hours will be Friday, October 2, 2020 from 12:30-1:00pm at Rocky Creek Cemetery, 1220 Rocky Creek Road, Lucedale, MS
