Hollis Dewayne Howell, age 62, of Meridian, MS died Sunday, April 25, 2020 at Meridian, MS. Mr. Howell was born May 15, 1957 in Mobile, AL. He is the son of Mary Jo (Eiland) Howell and the late Rev. Hollis J. Howell. Mr. Howell was a member of Coker's Chapel United Methodist Church. He was employed by Securitas as a Security Guard.

He is survived by one son: Jason (Kathy) Howell; mother Mary Jo (Eiland) Howell; two sisters: Sheila (Scott) McFarland and Vickie (Joe) Owen, granddaughter, Madisyn (Josh) Pittman; granddaughter, Riley Grace Howell, nieces, nephews and other family members.

A private family graveside service will be at Refuge Methodist Church Cemetery, Refuge-Bason Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Dennis Lewellyn officiating.
