Hollis E. Parker, 70, of the Vestry Community, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, at USA Hospital in Mobile, Alabama.

Born on July 14, 1955, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Hollis lived a life marked by hard work, simple pleasures, and a deep connection to the outdoors. He spent many years working in construction and as a mechanic, and he found joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time in the places he loved most.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton M. Parker and Dolores Willougby Parker, and his brother, Clinton Terry Parker.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Ceni Parker, Brenda Parker, and Hope Parker Havard and her husband, (JW) and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life honoring Hollis was held on July 13, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Louis Flurry Cemetery.

Hollis will be lovingly remembered for his one-of-a-kind spirit, his plainspoken ways, and the familiar "Bah-hum-bug" style that made him unforgettable to those who knew and loved him.
