Inez B Henderson, age 89, of Lucedale passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Smith Manor of Lucedale, MS.  Mrs. Henderson was born February 25, 1934 in Greene County, MS. She is the daughter of the late Will E and the late Vivian (Dickerson) Brown.  She married Barkley "Babe" Henderson on June 28, 1957; he preceded her in death on December 23, 2004. Mrs. Henderson was a hairdresser, wonderful homemaker, great cook, and an adventurist. She was a member of Temple Baptist church.

She is survived by daughter, Selina (Mike) Smith; son, Barkley (Pam) Henderson;granddaughter , Melissa (Shane) Stringfellow; grandson, Eric (Joy) Smith; granddaughter, Maegan (Scotty) Velasquez; Grandson, Blaine (Haleigh Mason) Henderson;great grandson, Shane Ray (Emma) Stringfellow Jr.; great grandson, Ryan Stringfellow; great grandson, Kenneth (Brittany) Stringfellow; great grandson, Devin ( Kaitlyn) Stringfellow; great granddaughter, Anna Frances Smith; great granddaughter, Julia Smith; great grandson, Jesse Smith; great granddaughter, Lily Smathers; great granddaughter, Leanna Smathers; great grandson, Lucas Velasquez; great great granddaughter, Alleigh Stringfellow; great great grandson, Tripp Stringfellow; great great granddaughter, Presley Stringfellow; great great grandson, River Stringfellow;  brother, Billy (Judy) Brown; sister-in-law, Sue Brown; special sister-in-law, Faye (Jerry) Kittrell; brothers-in-law, J.T. Henderson and Sam Henderson;a host of nieces, nephews, friends and church family at Temple Baptist Church.

Predeceased by her husband, Babe Henderson; brother, I.D. Brown; brother, Marion Brown; and Sister, Katie Ellen Brown.

The funeral will be held 12:00 pm on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. B. J. Hudson officiating.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale.
