Iris Michele Wilson, age 61, of Lucedale died Saturday, August 7, 2021 at home in Lucedale. Ms. Wilson was born March 8, 1960 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of Florence L. (Howard) Wilson and the late Xerxes "XA" Wilson. She was employed by Causey Middle School as a Teacher. Ms. Wilson was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by; her mother Florence L. (Howard) Wilson; two sisters: Marsha Wilson Hodges and Esther Ray, and one brother: Xerxes "Alex" Wilson; niece, Mia Ryleigh Holland Wilson; niece, Lauren E. Hodges Lee; nephew, Aaron J. Hodges; nephew, Ethan W. Hodges; nephew, Xerxes "Lex" Wilson; nephew, Elijah I. Wilson; niece, Carlie Flurry Wilson; nephew, Joshua Wilburn; niece, Kaci Pribanic Wilburn; niece, Hannah Hollinghead Calloway; nephew, Mann Calloway; great niece, Alana Grace Wilburn; great nephew, Fallon Lee Wilburn; great nephew, Carson R. Sumrall.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 5115 Brushy Creek Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Eddie Hartfield officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Monday, August 16 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Tuesday, August 17 from 9:00am-10:00am at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
