Iva Jewel Byrd, age 85, of Lucedale, MS passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Miss Byrd was born July 28, 1933 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Eley William and the late Thelma Maggie (Fairley) Byrd.

She was employed by Hancock Whitney Bank as a teller.

She is survived by; nephew, Dean (Rhonda) Byrd; niece, Paula (Skip) Blankenship and a host of other relatives.

The funeral will be held 11:00am on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Larry Havard officiating. Burial will be in Pipkins Cemetery, Leaf, MS.
