Ivan Orlando Brockway, age 85, of Lucedale died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at home in Lucedale. Mr. Brockway was born April 24, 1932 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Byron and the late Annie Mae (Welford) Brockway.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1952 to1956. He was a Self Employed Farmer. Mr. Brockway was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by one daughter: Phyllis (Kendall) Stringfellow and one son: Billy (Myra) Brockaway; two sisters: Doris Braun and Anna Lee (L.V.) Bradley, granddaughter, Katrina (BJ) Evans; grandson, Brandon (Ashley) Stringfellow; granddaughter, Jaina Brockaway; 6 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his First Wife, Jane Cooley Brockway, Second Wife, Rose Ellen Evans Brockway, brother, Y. D. Brockway, brother, Charles "Buddy" Brockway, sister, Truly Dean Bond, and sister, Mary Henderson

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main Street, Lucedale, MS with Rev. William Culp officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Friday, September 1 from 5:00-8:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, Lucedale, MS.
