Ivan Lavon Howell, age 89, of Lucedale, MS passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Canon
Hospice Center of Gulfport, MS. He is the son of the late Daniel and the late Carrie Eleana
(Holliman) Howell.
He was employed by as a machinist at Halter Marine Shipbuilders. He was a member of the
FM & A Masonic Lodge in Lucedale and also a member of Crossroad Free Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by a daughter: Sharon Ann Howell Pipkins and three sons: Charles Howell,
Dannie W. Howell and James L. Howell, He also has 7 Grandchildren and 18 Great
Grandchildren.
Predeceased by five siblings: Cecil Howell, Ford Howell, Jettie H. Holloman, Audrey King, and
Guy Howell .
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248
Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Warren Slay officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Free
Pentecostal Cemetery.
