Jacquelyn Renee Fanter, age 87, of Benndale, MS died Friday, October 21, 2016 at home in
Benndale. Mrs. Fanter was born February 2, 1929 in Hornell, NY. She is the daughter of the
late James Wiley and the late Myrtle Helen (Barnes) Cooper. She married Don Fanter. She
was predeceased by her husband, Don Fanter on November 8, 1998.
She was Home Maker.
Mrs. Fanter was a member of New Life Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons: Michael (Deb) Fanter of Benndale, MS and Tom Fanter of
Cheyenne, WY, three daughters: Dona (Bill) Diers of Farmington, NM, Lynda (Rich) Landwehr
of Julesburg, CO and Sharon (Paul) Penkova of McHenry, CO
9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great Grandchildren
Predeceased by her husband, Don Fanter, son, Alfred Ross Strand
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 26 at New Life Baptist Church, 9244
Hwy 57, McLain, MS with Rev. Simon Erkhart officiating. Burial will be in New Life Cemetery,
