James Louis Blackmon, age 76, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024. Mr. Blackmon was born November 9, 1947. He is the son of the late Lucas and the late Virginia "Virgie" (Lucas) Wilson. He was predeceased by his wife, Carla Holmes Blackmon on May 18, 2013.

He was employed in construction as a sheet metal worker. Mr. Blackmon was a father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by daughters: Peggy Goodwin of Satsuma, AL and Jodi Stephens of Monroe, LA; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
