James "Mark" Childers, age 50, of Lucedale, MS passed away Thursday, April 27th, 2023 at Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, AL.  Mark was born on August 24, 1972 in Gaffney, SC.  He is the son of the late Howard Lee Childers and the late Caroline Kay (Gann) Childers of Gaffney, SC.

He is survived by his fiancé, Alesha Brown of Lucedale MS; his brother, Timothy Childers of Gaffney SC; his sister, Lisa Hammond of Cheraw, SC; and nephews, Josh Hawkins of Shelby, NC and Derrick Farnsworth of Gaffney, SC.

A private memorial service will be planned for a later date.
