James Lloyd Davis, age 87, of Lucedale passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Sparrows Hills Personal Care in Lucedale, MS.  Mr. Davis was born January 13, 1935 in Franklin County, MS. He is the son of the late Albert L. and the late Ida Lee (Richardson) Davis.  He married Edna Jo Bristow on August 2, 1980 she predeceased him on June 26, 2009.

He was the owner of Lucedale Appliance Sales and Service. Mr. Davis was a member of Hurley Church of Christ.

He is survived by one daughter: Annie (Tim) Lamb of Lucedale, MS;  three sisters: Josephine Jones of Lucedale, MS, Sara (Zachary) Michini of Lucedale, MS and Loraine (Dana) Howell of Lucedale, MS, and one brother: Verlon (Donna) Davis of MA; He also has a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.

Predeceased by his Son, Darrell Lloyd Davis, and brother, LeRoy Davis.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Sigler Funeral Home Inc., 4248 Main Street, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Sam Craft officiating.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
