James Earl "Jimmy" Firth, age 76, of Lucedale passed away Monday, November 4,
2024 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Jimmy was born July 7,
1948 in Birmingham, AL. He is the son of the late Hilton and Robbie (Sumrall) Firth.
Jimmy retired as District Manager after 31 years, at Dairy Fresh. He enjoyed gardening,
live music, NASCAR, Crusin' the Coast and the New Orleans Saints. He had a love for
Black Creek, as it always held a special place in his heart and cherished memories
throughout his life. He loved fishing and running his lines. He regularly entertained at
his camp, frying fish, watching football and reminiscing with family and friends. Above
all, he very much loved his children, grandchildren and great grandbabies.
He is survived by daughter, Patricia (Scott) Arban; son, James "Bubba" (Suely) Firth Jr;
twin-daughters, Rebecca (Donnie) Carver and Regina (Richard) Rogers; grandchildren,
Halie (Kyle) Davidson, Holden Crowder, Olivia Orr, Sawyer Carver, Klaire Carver; great
grandchildren, Kohen Blankenship, Hadley Jaymes Davidson; sister, Gloria Jordan;
aunts, Betty Jean Sellers, Katherine Easterling, Helen Dale; uncles, Sydney Sellers,
Howard Easterling and Kenneth Firth.
Preceded in death by daughter, Deann Nichole "Nicky"; sister, Elaine Martin.
The funeral was held on Friday, November 8th
2024, at Sigler Funeral Home, with Bro.
Hoyt Clark officiating. Burial was held in Pinewood Baptist Cemetery, Benndale, MS.
