James C. Harrison, age 87, of Lucedale, MS died Monday, August 17, 2020 at home in Lucedale.  Mr. Harrison was born August 7, 1933 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Sim and the late Minnie (Busby) Harrison.  He married Janell Eubanks on June 17, 1954.  He was predeceased by his wife on January 19, 2015.  He was employed by Bender Ship Industries, Bush Construction, Hot Mix Asphalt, Enviro Landfill and was the former George County Chancery Clerk. Mr. Harrison was a member of Rocky Creek Church of Christ.

He is survived by one daughter: Rachael Harrison (Jason) Tanner and one son: Michael Harrison; one sister: Retha McMullan and one brother: Ben Harrison; grandchild, Latasha Jones; grandchild, Tiffany Harrison; grandchild, Byron Harrison; grandchild, Nikia Judd; Grandchild, Angel (Ricky) Railey;  Great grandchild, Tyler Allgood;  Great grandchild, James Judd; great grandchild, Abel Harrison; great grandchild, Easton Harrison; great grandchild, Kylie Judd; great grandchild, Ethan Judd; great grandchild, Roylan Railey; nephew, Dr. Ronnie Harrison; niece, Tammy (Dr. Steve) Gandy, daughter-in-law, Liza Harrison;

Predeceased by his wife, Janell Harrison, brother, Leonard Harrison, and sister, Ruby (Bill) Havard, grandson Ryan Harrison

A graveside service will be held 10:00 am on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Rocky Creek Cemetery, 1220 Rocky Creek Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Steve Crigler officiating.
