James Michael McKissick, age 62, of Lucedale passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL.  Mr. McKissick was born February 16, 1962 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Joseph L. and the late Julia A. (Griffin) McKissick.

He was employed as a Carpenter.

He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Jordan of Semmes, AL and one son,  Michael McKissick of Semmes, AL; two sisters, Patricia (Alan) Livingston of Lucedale, MS and Mary (Eugene) Vallely; three brothers, Joseph W. McKissick, Robert (Juanita) McKissick and Mark (Darlene Pardue) McKissick.

Predeceased by his brothers, Matthew B. McKissick and Hoyt Davis McKissick.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Randy Salisbury officiating.  Burial will be in Straight Way Church Cemetery.
