James Edward Murrah, age 83, of Lucedale died Saturday, June 23, 2018 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Mr. Murrah was born February 1, 1935 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Harold E. and the late Willie Bell (White) Murrah. He married Leona Watson on December 2, 1956 at Ocean Springs, MS. Rev. Murrah was the Minister at the Murrah Hill Revival Center. He was the owner and operator of Murrah Septic Services for 38 years.

He is survived by his wife: Leona (Watson) Murrah and five daughters: Sharlene Murrah, Tammy (David) Poole, Belinda (Michael) Dixon, Geraldine Murrah and Megan (Brian) Tanner; two sisters: Wanda (Robert) Pitts and Paula Stampley; 11 grandchildren and18 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his son, Ricky Murrah, parents, Harold & Willie Bell Murrah, brother, Gerald Murrah, and brother, Gary Murrah

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Bro. Edwin Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Free Pentecostal Cemetery, Lucedale on Tuesday, June 26 at 12:00 pm.
