Jamie Evans Dickerson, age 87, of Lucedale passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at home in Lucedale. Mrs. Dickerson was born January 4, 1931 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Tom P. and the late Maude P. Evans. She married Joe F. Dickerson on November 18, 1949. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe F. Dickerson.

She was a Homemaker.
Mrs. Dickerson was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters: Wendy D. (Kirk) Brownlee and Toni D. Skoog, and one son: Joe G. Dickerson; two sisters: Nell (Bob) Kennedy and Gussie Cook,; She also has four grandchildren; Kyle Skoog, Evan Skoog, Tom Brownlee, and Stephanie Brownlee.

Predeceased by her sister, Geraldine Evans.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 14146 Hwy 26 West, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Bruce McKenzie officiating.
Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 9:30-11:00AM at Shady Grove Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Shady Grove Operation Christmas Child.
