Janice Jackson, age 70, of Lucedale died Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Providence Hospital of Mobile, AL. Mrs. Jackson was born December 5, 1950 in Mobile, AL. She is the daughter of the late Joe Murry Wilkenson Sr. and the late Luverne McNeil. She married Cecil "Bubbie" W. Jackson on January 14, 1967. She was predeceased by her husband on May 9, 2015. She was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by two sons: Joseph (Susanne) Jackson of Lucedale, MS and Scott (Alicia) Jackson of Lucedale, MS, grandchild, Shane Jackson; sister-in-law, Debbie Wilkenson; niece, Wade (Emily) Miller; nephew, Jeremy Mizell; brother-in-law, Buddy Mizell; nephew, Chris Miller; Niece, Elizabeth Miller; nephew, Devin Cunningham; niece, Melissa Wilkenson; niece, Tammy (Steve) Beverly.

Preceded in death by: husband, Bubbie Jackson, mother, Luverne McNeil, father, Joe Murry Wilkenson Sr., brother, Joe Murry Wilkenson Jr.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Brother Donnie Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Tanner Cemetery.
