Jannette Leah Parks, age 80, of Lucedale passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at home in Lucedale.  Ms. Parks was born April 9, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA. She is the daughter of the late Jack and the late Ruth Cockrum Auser.

Ms. Parks was a member of First Baptist Church, a member of AA, and she was employed as a secretary in the past. Ms. Parks was a very loving and caring person. She would give anyone who was in need the shirt off of her back. Everyone always mentions how sweet of a person she always has been.

She is survived by two daughters, Rosanna Butka and Elaine Hunt both of Sacramento, CA;  two grandchildren, David Hunt and Laura Hunt both of Sacramento, CA; one sister, Deanna Watt of Berkeley, CA.
