Jannie "Tootie" Dickerson, age 65, of Lucedale passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at home in Lucedale.  Mrs. Dickerson was born June 5, 1957 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Greg "Kid" and the late Nelda Jane (Davis) Havard.  She married David Dickerson on April 5, 1986.

She was employed by Affolter Contracting in Quality Control. She was a faithful member of Rhymes Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: David Dickerson, daughter: Ronda (Darrell) Brewer; sons: Greg Dearman and Phillip (Kim) Dickerson; five grandchildren: Damon (Ciara) Brewer, Garrett (Dara) Brewer, Courtney Dickerson, Alexis Dickerson, Raylan Dickerson; sisters: Linda Dearman and Louise (Roy) Dean, and brother: Billy (Vanessa) Havard.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Rhymes Missionary Baptist Church, 1056 Lamar St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Dale Dean officiating.  Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.

Calling hours will be Friday, August 19, 2022 from 6:00-9:00pm at Rhymes Missionary Baptist Church, 1056 Lamar St., Lucedale, MS.
