Jean Merrell Breland, age 78, of Leaf, MS died Thursday, April 22, 2021 at USA Medical of Mobile, AL. Mrs. Breland was born January 22, 1943 in Waynesboro, MS. She is the daughter of the late Sheldon Webb and the late Mildred (Cran) Webb. She married the late Shelton Enmon Breland Sr. She was a retired School Counselor for the Stone County and the Greene County School System. Mrs. Breland was a member of Leaf Church.

She is survived by one son: Samuel M. Breland of Lucedale, MS; two sisters: Shelley (Terry) Gibson Sr. and Evelyn Navin, and one brother: Sheldon Webb;

Predeceased by her parents, Sheldon & Mildred Webb, husband, Shelton Enmon Breland Sr., Son, Shelton Enmon Breland Jr., and sister, Becky Monroe

The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Leaf Church, Church Road, Leaf, MS with Rev. Grant McLain officiating. Burial will be in Leaf Cemetery, Leaf, MS.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 27 from 11:30am- 1:00pm at Leaf Church.
