OliveJean Brown, age 84, of Lucedale passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 in Hamilton, MS.  Mrs. Brown was born September 7, 1936 in Groveton, NH. She is the daughter of the late Roy E. Tibbetts and the late Alice Barlow Caruthars. She married Richard L. Brown on April 28, 1954.

Mrs. Brown was a faithful member of Greater Vision Worship Center in Agricola. She was employed by George Regional Hospital for 35 years as an ER nurse, 911 dispatcher, and unit secretary.

She is survived by her husband: Richard L. Brown; five daughters: Dallas (Mike) Pitts, Kari (John) Hicks, Joy (Chris) Trease, Tammy (Adam) Pierce and Cathy (Phil) Piché; two sons: Steve (Jill) Brown and Joel (Sue) Brown; 33 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren on the way; a host of nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her father, Roy E. Tibbetts; mother, Alice Mable Caruthars; step father, James Caruthars; infant (stillborn); infant daughter, Deborah Margaret Brown; infant great grandchild, Hunter Heard; and infant (stillborn) great grandchild, Malachi Hartsfield.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Shane Hamblin officiating.  Burial will be in Greater Vision Worship Center Cemetery in Agricola on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 10:00-11:00am at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS
