Jerald Edward Ranager, age 73, of Lucedale died Friday, August 18, 2017 at home in Lucedale. Mr. Ranager was born August 10, 1944 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Joseph W. and the late Ethel M. (Miller) Ranager. He married Lynda Leggett.

He served his country in the U. S. Army and was a retired Boilermaker.
Mr. Ranager was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Lynda (Leggett) Ranager, two daughters: Loretta (Brad) Waltman and Frances (Tommy) Kline, and one son: Jarvis (Kelly) Ranager; two sisters: Martha Sue (Herman) Bedwell and Anna Lou (Bob) Cummins, 8 grandchildren11 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his brother, Wilroy Ranager

The funeral will be held 3:00 pm on Monday, August 21 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 14146 Hwy 26 West, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Larry Havard officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Sunday, August 20 from 6:00-9:00pm at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
