John Milton " Buddy" Crocker, Jr., age 83, of Leakesville died Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at
Providence Hospital of Mobile, AL. Mr. Crocker was born June 19, 1932 in Leakesville, MS. He
is the son of the late John Milton and the late Mildred Lorraine (McLeod) Crocker Sr. He married
Agnes Inez Welford on March 24, 1954. He was predeceased by his wife, Agnes Inez Welford
on May 25, 2015.
He served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Greene County Board of
Supervisors as a Supervisor.
Mr. Crocker was a member of Living Waters Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by three daughters: Sherry (Billy) Blankinchip, Julie (Randy) Miller, Joani
(Shannon) Busby; one sister: Neel (Kenneth) Long and two brothers: Graham (Sue) Crocker,
Dorsey (Evelyn) Crocker; grandchild, Joey Jarvis; grandchild, Michael Jarvis; grandchild, Holly
(Jeremy) Barnett; grandchild, Sarah (Robert) Loper; grandchild, Dayton (Kim) Busby; A host of
great grandchildren
Predeceased by his wife, Agnes Inez Welford Crocker, daughter, Phyllis Jeanette Crocker
parents, John Milton and Mildred Lorraine Crocker Sr.
The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 4 at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 2147
Rocky Creek Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah
Baptist Church Cemetery, Leakesville on Thursday, February 4 at 4:00 pm.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 3 from 6:00pm -10:00pm at the Rocky Creek Baptist
Church, Lucedale, MS
