John Paul Mergenschroer, age 44, of Lucedale passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Springhill Memorial Hospital in Mobile, AL. He was born September 15, 1975 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of Dennis Mergenschroer and the late Faye Mergenschroer.
He was the Business Manager and Financial Secretary for the past 7 years for IBEW Local 733 in Pascagoula, MS of which he was an active member for 20+ years. He was a member of the Joppa Shriners of Biloxi, MS & the Tri-County Shrine Club of Lucedale, MS. He was also a member of Barton Baptist Church in Lucedale, MS.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years: Felicia (Gibson) Mergenschroer and their four children: John (Brooklyn), Pamela, Paul and Johnathan; 2 Grandsons Zaelyn and Braelyn; Father: Dennis Mergenschroer of Lucedale; Sister: Sandy (Adam) Mergenschroer-Livingston of Hawaii; Brother: Scott (Carolyn) Mergenschroer of Lucedale; Numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his mother, Sandra Faye Mergenschroer; Paternal Grandparents: CC and Ada Mae (Boutwell) Mergenschroer; Maternal Grandparents: Elma and Valda Rae (Howell) Bryant
A private Graveside Funeral service will be held at Barton Baptist Church in Lucedale, MS with Brother Brad Howard and Brother John Henry officiating.
