Johnnie L. Buckley, Sr., age 67, of Lucedale passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Mr. Buckley was born November 25, 1951 in Jackson, MS. He is the son of the late James Cargile Buckley and Deriecee (Poole) Buckley Perry.

He served in the Army for 26 years. He was employed by U. S. Army as an Engineer/Mechanic.

He is survived by his wife: Rebecca (Patterson) Buckley , four daughters: Brenda (William) Tillman of Ovett, MS, Rachel Buckley of Pascagoula, MS, Michelle Guthrie of Greenwood, MS and Lottie Buckley of Greenwood, MS, and three sons: Johnnie (Monica) Buckley of Lucedale, MS, James Buckley of Lucedale, MS and Matthew Buckley of Lucedale, MS,; his mother Deriecee (Poole) Buckley Perry; two sisters: Gatha White and Deriecee Swift, and three brothers: Michael P. Buckley, Rory Buckley and Lyle Buckley,; He also has 16 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by; father James C. Buckley, and brother; Issac Buckley Sr..

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Ben Buckley officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Taylorsville, MS on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 3:00 pm.
