Johnny Walter Brazell, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.  Born October 28, 1958, Johnny touched many lives with his laughter and witty personality that brought warmth to all that knew him.

Having recently retired after many years in the roofing industry, Johnny found great joy in spending time with his family and friends.  He leaves behind his loving daughters, Jonnie (Errol) Reed, Jennifer Brooks, and Christina (Chris) Brazell; his adoring grandchildren, Cailey, Destiny, Jonathan, Bryanna, Ashlyn, and Jordan; one much cherished great-granddaughter, Huntleigh; his siblings, Rocky, Paul, Danny, Travis, Timothy, Teresa, Tina, and Janet; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Peyton and Flora Mae Brazell; and his brother, Tommy .

A service to celebrate and honor the life of Johnny will be held Monday, Febuary 17, 2025, from 12:00–2:00 pm at Tanner's Chapel United Methodist Church, 26275 Tanner Chapel Road, Lucedale, MS, with Brother Steve Jones officiating.  Burial will follow at Tanner Cemetery.

As we reflect on his life, we remember the happy demeanor and witty spirit that touched the lives of all that were fortunate enough to have known him.  Although he will be deeply missed, he will be forever remembered by family and loved ones.
