Joseph Charles "Joe" Williams, age 62, of Lucedale, MS passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at home in Lucedale. Mr. Williams was born September 1, 1960 to John Oliver and Naulda "Jean" Parker Williams. He married Rebekah Williams August 19, 2011; they loved fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He loved to hunt and fish. He loved spending time on his tractor and farming. He worked for R.J. Baggett for 20 years as a millwright and could fix almost anything. He loved good ole southern cooking and loved to cook. He loved Alabama football and was a diehard Alabama fan. He loved spending time with his grandkids, who called him "Papaw Joe". To all of his friends, Joe was known as a "good friend" and he will be greatly missed by all of them.

Joe is survived by his wife, Rebekah Williams; children, Brandy (Nick) Barber, Mary Williams, Destiny (Cory) McLeod and Anna (Bo) Eubanks; four grandchildren, Landen, Bryson, Blythe, and Luca; brothers, Johnny (Bernice) Williams, Thomas (Brenda) Williams, Dan (Jeannie) Williams; sister, Jennifer Bexley (Rocky); brother-in-law, Terry Nyman; nieces and nephews, Christine Williams, John (Lisa) Williams, John "Scooter" Nyman, Julian Nyman, April Bexley Motes, Allison (Jeremy) Goff, Christi (Scott) Taylor, and Cluis Howell; and many great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Oliver and Naulda "Jean" Parker Williams; grandparents, Crafton (Nena) Parker of Agricola, MS and Ira (Fannie) Williams of Lucedale, MS; brother, Michael Williams; brother, David Williams; sister, Brenda Nyman; nephew, Michael Williams; nephew, Mike Nyman.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cory McLeod, Joey Freeman, James Walters, Paul Henderson, Jeremy Goff, and John Williams. Howard Clark will be an Honorary Pallbearer.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
