Joseph Thecolyon Moore, age 63, of Perkinston passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Covenant Hospice of Mobile, AL. Mr. Moore was born September 4, 1956 in Wiggins, MS. He is the son of the late Linton T. and the late Janell (Harrell) Moore. He married Opal Parker on December 16, 1977.

He was employed on the District 5 road crew for George County. He was a welding foreman at Ingalls Shipbuilders for over 20 years prior to retirement. He was a cattle farmer and a hunter.

He is survived by his wife: Opal (Parker) Moore, one daughter: Kristi Sha'nel (Marathon Nhim) Deakle and one son: Westley Thecolyon Moore; four brothers: Danny (Marie) Moore, William (Linda) Moore, Anthony Moore and Harrell (Vicki) Moore,; four grandchildren, Ashton James Eley, Hunter Deakle, Kaylie Deakle, Austin Moore; great grandchild, Grayson Eley.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, Hwy 57 South, Lucedale,, MS with Rev. Bobby Morris officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Monday, January 20, 2020 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS. There will also be a one hour visitation at the Pine Grove United Methodist Church prior to the service on Tuesday January 21, 2020.
