Joshua Samuel Godfrey of Wilmer, AL, born April 3, 1982 went to be with his Savior on October 27, 2018. He was welcomed Home by his precious older sister Julie.
Josh was a long time resident of Wilmer. He was a graduate of Mary G. Montgomery High School, class of 2000. He received his Associates Degree from Faulkner State Community College.
Josh is preceded in death by his older sister Julie Christi Godfrey, his maternal grandparents; W.B. and Etta Westbrook and fraternal grandparents; Simmie and Moree Godfrey.
Josh is survived by his parents; Larry and Janice Godfrey of Wilmer, older brother Jacob Godfrey and his wife, Jordan (Pittman) of Lucedale, nephew Judson Thomas Godfrey and niece, Juliana Lynn Godfrey as well as beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at Wilmer Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00pm with funeral services to follow at 2:00, internment at Wilmer Cemetery.
