Josie C. Blangé, age 72, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at Amelia's Garden of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Blangé was born November 7, 1950 in New Orleans, LA.  She is the daughter of the late Joseph Daniel and the late Hazel (Dugas) Contreras.  She married Paulus Ludovicus Blangé III, who preceded her in death on September 30, 2015.

She is survived by one daughter, Amber Blangé (Adam) Reus and one son, Micah Paul (Ginger) Blangé; five grandchildren, Semyra M. Reus, Jonathan A. Reus II, Chloe Blangé, Jordyn Jackson, Mason Blangé; four sisters,Linda "Morgy" Braud, Brenda Christofferson, Susan "China" Posecai and Beverly Lee;  three brothers, Daniel "Danny" Contreras, Glenn Contreras and John Ferguson

Predeceased by sisters, Dolores Conley, Sonya Prentice, Rebecca "Becky" Lloyd.

The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Joey Reus officiating.
