Joy Goodsell Welford, age 96, of Camden, SC died Friday, January 10, 2020 at Springdale Health Care Center of Camden, SC. Mrs. Welford was born January 12, 1923 in Port Rush, Northern Ireland. She is the daughter of the late Clement Frank Goodsell and the late May Joy (Diamond) Goodsell. She married Guy Edward Welford on July 12, 1945. She was predeceased by her husband on August 23, 1988. Joy was a long time resident of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Welford was a member of First Baptist Church of Lucedale.

She is survived by one daughter: Linda (Bill) Glover of Camden, SC; grandson, William (Samantha) Glover; granddaughter, Annareese Lynn Glover; granddaughter, Saige Violet Glover.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Eddie Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale.
