Joyce Mae Buckley, age 69, of Lucedale passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at home in Lucedale.  Mrs. Buckley was born January 23, 1954 in Columbia, MS. She is the daughter of the late Marshall and the late Emma Jane McLoud Dixon.  She married Isaac L. Buckley Sr. He predeceased her on April 8, 2011. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by children: Teresa Rená Dearman, Isaac (Mary) Levi Buckley Jr., Matilda Lynn Phelps, Tabitha Buckley (David Holifield), Shannon Doris Parker, and George James Edward Buckley; grandchildren: Destry Parker, Tristan Parker, Kannon Parker, Tyra Whiddon, Emmia Holifield, Aaliyah Holifield, Ashley Phelps, Dixie Phelps, Rebecca Buckley, Austin Buckley, Alexis Buckley, Bryston Buckley, Hailee Buckley, Kayston Buckley, and Easton Buckley; great grandchildren: Freedom Parker, Jordan Parker, Isabella Parker, Giavanna Parker, Kinsley Mason, Chloe Mason, Addison Lindeen, Everleigh Busby, Riley Parker, and Casper Phelps; siblings: James Ray Dixon, Cindy Lou Hilburn, Marguritte Peak Tackett, and Jackie Peak.

She is preceded in death by: husband, Isaac Levi Buckley Sr.; parents: Emma Jean Dixon, Marshall Dixon, and Edward Peak; grandchildren: Lilly Charlene Buckley, Ricky Zues Buckley, and Victor Moroe Phelps; siblings: Stanley Peak, Edward Peak, Delores Peak, and Robert Dixon.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Ben Buckley, officiating.  Burial will be in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, 220 Fellowship Road in Taylorsville, MS on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
